CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Basic Strength & Cardio: This class keeps the strength and cardio moves pure and simple. No complicated choreography to master – just a clean straight up workout giving your body what it needs to build strength and endurance.
Cardio Mix: Mix up your cardio workouts with variety. Cardio refers to any activity that increases heart and breathing rates while using large muscle groups in a rhythmic fashion. In this class we will mix it up with floor and step cardio interval workouts, Zumba, and kickboxing. Get your heart pumping while enjoying variety and fun!
HIIT or MIIT: High or Medium intensity intervals fit the level from which you are working. You choose how fast, hard or heavy to go through intervals of strength and cardio exercises designed to improve your endurance and movement skills. Classes vary by timing, format and exercise choice to keep your body guessing and improving.
Kettlebells & Core: Kettlebells are a uniquely shaped piece of equipment that can be adapted to develop both strength and aerobic conditioning. Designed to challenge your stabilizing muscles, kettlebells stimulate the full body musculature from the ground up, mimicking functional real-life demands. Pairing Kettlebell movement with other modes of specific core work rounds out this class for an invigorating work-out
Pilates: Is a form of exercise that emphasizes controlled movements, precise breathing, and muscle engagement. Practicing Pilates can lead to various physical and mental benefits such as increased core strength, enhanced flexibility, improved posture, and mind body connection.
Strength, Cardio & Core Circuit: This circuit class increases the fun element by utilizing a variety of equipment including ladders, Bosu Balance Trainers, medicine balls, suspension trainers, and more. You move from station to station, focusing on a variety of fitness elements from strength and conditioning to balance and power. You control the intensity at each station which makes this an excellent workout for all fitness levels. The variety means you are never bored by the same routine. Get out of the exercise rut and into a groove with the energy of a circuit class!
Yoga: Feel refreshed as you join us for some Yoga. As you flow through Yoga poses you will stimulate the nervous system, increase blood flow and develop coordination. Holding other poses and stretches can help to lengthen along fascial lines and increase range of motion. Tying our movement to our breath increases our ability to still our minds and focus on the present moment. What a great way to relax during the day!
